Chris Nick, known as Cenyc (pronounced Scenic), is a seasoned hip-hop artist, multi-instrumentalist, and storyteller from Montauk, NY, with creative roots in Austin, TX. Music has been his life’s constant. Shaped by a father who spent decades as a sound engineer and a mother, a Northwestern University alum and gifted vocalist, who nurtured his talent from an early age.

By age three, Cenyc was building rhythm on a homemade PVC drum set his father crafted. His natural musicianship led to performing at the South Street Seaport with The Grateful Dead at just 7 years old, jamming with blues legend Johnny Winter, and later expanding his skills on drums, piano, and songwriting.

Balancing artistry with athleticism, Cenyc also played college baseball and professional Arena football before channeling that same discipline into music and personal training, where he works with athletes at all levels. His catalog blends sharp lyricism, motivational storytelling, and an unapologetic authenticity drawn from real-life experiences.
